 NUTROMAR S.A® equipment is in all cases brand new, specially built according to the needs of our factory using  state of the art materials for these purposes.

All the equipment has been manufactured with materials approved by the FDA .

Those which are in touch with the product have been made of stainless steel.

Description of the premises

The premises where the bottling plant is located is in Seccion Judicial No 1 in Abra de Perdomo, Maldonado Uruguay. This site is easily accessed via Camino de los Ceibos (which joins Route 9 and Route 39 ) as it is about 500 mts from the important 9 Route. The industrial plant is in a privileged position because it is near important urban centres such as San Carlos (7 kms), Maldonado-Punta del Este (15 kms) and the capital city, Montevideo (100 kms)

The landscape surrounding the premises is a wooden hilly area with beautiful medows and some rocky formations which are a distinctive feature of the zone (Abra de Perdomo). It is a rural area with scarce population ,not appropriate for agrucultural activities.

Most of the land is devoted to growing cattle and rural tourism.
Its flora is typical of the Uruguayan hilly areas with streams and local species of bushes and  indigenous trees such as Ceibos, Coronillas, Agüera and Espina de la Cruz among the best known.The industrial plant is located several metres above the sea level offering a stunning view of the nearby hills and towns.These characteristics make the plant and its surroundings an incredible place to visit.
Premises and equipments
The plant occupies an area of 750 m2 including all the facilities required to its correct functioning.There are separate areas for storage of raw materials and  the final products as well as labs, offices and  changing rooms for the staff. The premises have been built according to the GMP requirements which in turn have been approved by the FDA
