Mineral water emerges from under the ground, then
flows over rocks before it is collected, resulting in a higher content of
various minerals. Unlike spring water, it can't be treated except to remove grit
and dirt. Different brands of spring and mineral waters will have differing
amounts of minerals depending on their source.Mineral water MERET® is extracted from the natural aquifer from a
depth of 50 m from two wells of different extracting capacity, alternating
according to production.
Once
extracted, water is taken through specially made pipes, which have been
manufactured following the regulations of the FDA
(U.S. Department of Health and Human Services-Food and Drug Administration), to
the factory where it is stored in stainless steel tanks with maximun and minimun
automatic control. In this way, the amount of water extracted does not exceed
the one needed for production.
Then it is
filtered and bottled in the bottle line.After
that, it is codified and packed, located in pallets to be correctly loaded in
containers.
All these processes are followed with connected automatic
machines,using sensors to guarantee the continuity of the production. The
equipments are daily cleaned with environmentally-friendly products.

has a well-equipped lab with specially-trained staff to perform the control
anlysis at all stages of the production as required for the FDA and local
